
Grief and grieving are incredibly painful emotions and processes to go through and yet we all inevitably grieve at some point in our lives. Grief most often is thought to follow the loss of a loved one and while this is certainly true grief can also be experienced as we face other forms of loss and change throughout our lives. As we experience grief it affects us differently and has many different dimensions to it; including our thoughts, memories, beleifs, sprituality, physically and socially. Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to grieve something that happened in the past.
